Description
This database presents the Yukon Permanent Art Collection, curated by the Government of Yukon in collaboration with the Friends of Yukon Permanent Art Collection. It comprises over 500 artworks—including First Nations pieces, prints, sculptures, textiles, paintings, drawings, photographs, carvings, and mixed media—by Yukon and Canada-based artists. Works are displayed in public buildings across Yukon or held in storage at the Yukon Arts Centre. An annual call for submissions, adjudicated by a volunteer jury, allows artists to contribute up to three pieces each.
